Summer at SM City North Edsa offers
a unique sensory experience for all mall-goers.
This summer SM City North EDSA
comes up with ART KARNIVAL which is an interactive and fun exhibit that engages
everyone to experience art on a more personal level.

Not going with the usual summer
ideas for a mall, SM City North Edsa has cooked up something different through
a sensory voyage via visual arts. Through a partnership with Vinyl on Vinyl,
which is the coolest art gallery for pop culture arts, SM City North Edsa is
able to show support to young artists Anjo Bolarda, Bato, Blic, Garapata,
Jeffrey Jay Jarin, Tyang Karyel, VOV Studio and Whooop.

This edgy
initiative by SM City North Edsa hopes to spearhead a new appreciation of art
in the north.

Each piece in this exhibit is
carefully selected and place in area that would bring not only the art piece
itself but the surrounding area as well. As mall goer walk the winding path, art
installations pop out at them, drawing their eyes to their surroundings, stimulating
interest. This whimsical almost fantasy-like world perfectly complements
Skygarden’s tenants.

Karnival at the Skygarden.

The exhibit, which runs the entire length of the
Skygarden, highlights unique installation pieces by each featured artist curated
for the space by Vinyl On Vinyl. The exhibit runs from April 21 to June 12,
2017.
